Fringe is a TV series created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci that premiered on September 9, 2008, and lasted 5 seasons, concluding on January 18, 2013 after 100 episodes. The series revolves around Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson), and Walter Bishop (John Noble), who are part of the "Fringe Division" of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The trio and their cohorts investigate and seek to find the underlying cause of an endless string of strange to downright disgusting mysterious happenings, which are eventually discovered to be related to a parallel universe. Interestingly, the parallel version of Walter Bishop comes to be known as "Walternate."

The flip clock appears for only 16 seconds on the night stand beside the alternate Elizabeth Bishop's side of the bed.
