Copal 702 alarm buzzer is very faint

I have disassembled the unit following this helpful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAW8VVYPzP8 . I've seen another video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOvKqzltAf8) where a quiet buzzer was fixed by loosening a screw, but it is not obvious to me where that would be in this unit. Any pointers?

    Thanks!

My 702 is in storage right now. I can get it later but the buzzer is on the back to the right of the button you depress to silence the alarm. There is a metal plate on it. Try to loosen the plate and readjust it.
if I get a moment to dig that clock out I’ll try to show you.

I've attached some images of what I think you're referring to. The screws in the back are not budging (neither are any of the other screws on the casing, while the similar looking screws on the black electronic components (switches?) unscrew just fine). There is also a brown/red looking adhesive/goop surrounding the screws on the case. The screw directly behind the minute flaps does not have any goop around it... however, I can't get to it without harming the flaps.

Am I going in the right direction?

      Thanks again

You need to (carefully) scrape off the glue and then with a screwdriver which is a perfect fit for the screw, push the screwdriver in really hard whilst holding on to the clock and try to undo the screw, using not too much force because else it will slip and damage the screw. That's the only way to do it, by hand not using too much force but do try to scrape away as much of the glue as possible. Push and turn at the same time is key.

Scraping the glue off did the trick! I then unscrewed both screws holding the metal plate of the buzzer, removed the parts that the plate held together, reassembled those parts, and screwed it back together.

During disassembly, I accidentally broke the plastic alarm indicator (sadly, I missed the warning mentioned in the video above). Fortunately, I fixed it with superglue. A small slotted screw holds a piece of metal to which the indicator is connected to. Removing this screw early in the process lets you take the indicator out of the unit before pulling out the internals, reducing the risk of breaking it.

Anyways, here it is in action:
