    RC-6025 for under $18.00

    I just bought a RC-6025 off eBay for $17.65.
I saw it pop up. Could believe it was a Buy It Now and Snatched it before even looking past the listing picture, ... before any of you saw it.

Merry Christmas to me (not gloating ... too much).

Thanks! I'll check it out. If it's better than mine I'll keep it. But I'm going to need to sell one soon, for sure.

Not a big fan of Panasonic, but always like a good buy!!

Speaking of Panasonic, I found an original and very thick Panasonic catalogue from the early 70ies in my own stock and am thinking of selling it... Will post it here first before putting it up on ebay

I figured as much, I bought it on ebay, probably 10 years ago, but my interest lies more with Flip clocks without radio and Panasonic is most about clocks with radio.

            I'll take some pictures soon

I was a little afraid that the seller would find out what he had and back out of the deal but tracking indicates that the clock is at our post office. For those of you that are not aware, the RC-6025 is the Groundhog Day clock (the clock featured in that movie) and usually sells between 100 and 200 dollars. I really robbed the guy and feel a little guilty about that. But maybe he's one of those people who doesn't care about money? I don't know. In any event, I'm going to video the process of getting this $18.00 clock up and running.

                Nice find!!
That one of those few clocks that if you don’t buy it immediately......it’s gone. I have bought a couple this way. I always wonder if the seller knows what it’s worth or they just want it gone.

The best example I have of this sort of thing was snagging a working white Panasonic RC-6551 for $10 with free shipping. I thought for sure it wouldn't ship, but loh and behold it showed up! Probably was listed on ebay all of 7 seconds... I just keep in mind there are plenty of these clock radios being thrown into the trash without bothering to sell them or priced low in yard sales all the time, might as well go to a good home.
