one small part for sankyo, one giant leap to find...

I have a sankyo 551, I would like to know if there is a place I can buy a part. I lost the knob that turns the time. So if I want to adjust the time, I need to take it out of its case. I saw a few on eBay, but I do not want to buy a whole new clock for that one part. Also, do any other Sankyo models for a 551? From what I see they look different from model to model.

I think, considering the clock from this particular year, it should be very difficult to find a usable knob part. A potentially easier solution might be to use a plastic straw and epoxy putty to try making a replacement knob. I once used this method to make a replacement knob for a Cititzen clock in my collection.
